Fylle

The Temple of Fylle is one of the five temples of the Sisterhood of the Blood Iris on Lake Oxylium. It is the closest to the Old Pale Empire Road.
The current Sister Exelsior at Fylle is Jalquiss.
Fylle is the most easily accessable of the Temples of the Sisterhood of the Blood Iris to human travellers and in some ways it acts a little like a borderland town. It is the second most populated of the Temples, after Xeld, and it has medical and healing facilities almost as good as the ones on Xeld Island.
Fylle currently offers those discrete services which men speak of in whispers and Jalquiss is, herself, a successful Sanguine Sister.

History

During the construction of the Old Pale Empire Road, the Sister Exelsior at Fylle was Alhamona, also a Sanguine Sister. The story of her tragic relationship with Major Thomas Wildheart, an engineer working on the road, is told in Kromin Junovere's Fables of Myruthea and has become famous.

More than six thousand years later, the Sister Exelsior at Fylle was Githraliss. According to the second volume of Clarise Vabatan's Diary she approved the onward journey of the infamous mage and her compantion to the temple of Kern where they would meet Esteranna.
