Arazzator

"Arazzator was the name of an old capital of a wealthy dwarven colony. It was built high in the Arrae Mountains, nestled against steep cliffs. It's population consisted of great miners, metalworkers and builders, renowned even on the mainland. Far to the north on the island of Bennoth Ikk the dwarves from Hammarkin made a wealthy colony, dedicated to mining for rare metals and gems. The City of Arazzator was once the great capital of this colony. The city was founded at the entrance of one of the most important mines on the island. It soon expanded and became the capital of the colony, the government palace guarding the entrance to the mines. It's location made it impossible to attack with the only way to enter the city being a mile long bridge. The city was divided into two layers, the lower city for the workers and common folk, and the upper city for the government and nobility. When the dwarven kingdoms of the mainland fell the colony of Bennoth Ikk continued to work for at some time, until at some point all communication fell silent.
