Bennoth Ikk

"The kingdom of Domari is the only major Dwarven faction left in Wordal, but it wasn't always so. Long ago there were four dwarven kingdoms, Domari in the Domart Mountains, Gynardia in the Gynard Mountains, Ballaer is the Balaeran Mountains and Hammarkin in the Hammarkin Mountains. It is believed that the dwarves angered the mountain spirits, calling upon themselves the wrath of the mountains. Dragons came down and the great dwarven kingdoms were destroyed in the Dragon War. Before its downfall, the dwarven kingdom of Hammarkin had many colonies on various islands in the Olor Sea to the North. Their mountains were filled with riches and rare metals. These metals were brought to the great cities on the mainland and forged into weaponry and armor that the dwarves were renowned for. After the Dragon War the colony of Bennoth Ikk continued working for at least some time. Occasional shipments came back from the colony until one day they just... stopped. Various adventurers have set out to find out more about what happened to the colony. The great cities are abandoned, the palaces empty and the mines dark and overrun by terrible creatures of the dark. The treasures they unearthed are still there, ready to be shipped to the mainland.
