Cross End
Cross End is a crime-ridden, poverty-stricken, little piece of hell in the City. Police sirens wail day and night as the cops try vainly to keep a lid on this district's boiling pot of crime. Survival is a struggle every day for the unfortunate inhabitants of this district, between the street gangs, organized crime, and the random terrible shit that only seems to happen in Cross End.
If you look hard, you can find signs that Cross End wasn't always so awful; there are crumbling remnants of a more prosperous past. But no one's got time for dreaming of the past when the present is a struggle just to get through day by day.
