General Summary

Remains of a Monday:

Monday continues as Eugenia has a very interesting run in with an ally/enemy on her way home from Sarah Camlenn’s. Francis answers a call for help from his niece Emma and gets more than he bargained for. Dee, Mora, Kit , and Ryan Roswell learn that door jumping is not an exact science as they are deposited back at Helix for some unfinished business.

Introductions:

Excalibur finds Isaac waiting in her towncar. They exit the Camlenn Estate and drive through Winegarden with a dubious road block ahead and a storm approaching from behind.

Francis and Felicity seek comfort and warmth back at the Burke residence. They reminisce after the emotional events with Nona as the Mist rolls in and obscure memories. An urgent text from Emma seems to threaten the building commodore between the once estranged Burke twins. “I need a ride. Don’t tell my mom.”

The Helix Heist crew are suddenly thrust back to the Helix warehouse in Cross End.

• Dee jumps with the crew through a portal to the sanctuary of the Bluemoon Cafe. However, instead of the smells of espresso and warm blueberry muffins, they are pulled BACK through the same portal to the Helix warehouse.
• Dee finds herself alone on a Freight Elevator, door open wide.
• Kit lands in a hallway by a locker room with two men in Hazmat suits, who are rolling on the floor.
• Ryan is back on the 3rd floor standing in the room with the still addled Dr Worth.
• Mora lands directly in front of the greenhouse, doors opened wide and coils of fog creep from within.
• Dee realizes that a previous portal landing into he Blue Moon Cafe has permanently banned her from magical entrances. The werewolves have a specific Dee Lastrange ward to prevent her from appearing after hours.
  

Roadblock

There is a police roadblock on Eugenia’s road home. Two officers stationed, already dressed in ponchos, before the rain began.

Officer 1 is described at "butch" and claims the road is washed out ahead from the rain that just started.

They tell Eugenia's driver to follow a dubious dirt road through the trees.

Eugenia refuses to take the dubious road (cuz it’s a trap!) and calls Hector at the Excalibur estate to come in 4x4s to get them.

She tells them the car will wait on the side of road for the 4x4 to arrive.

Eastside?!

Francis struggles with the The Mist to remember when Nona died. Remember she passed away before his accident. Nona's ghost has been occupying the space for several years, at least.

Francis excuses himself from his sister and uses Kit as a fake excuse to leave.

Francis sees texts from the crew and has concerns but heads to Emma. He sees the spring storms approach.

The address is on the far end of East Side at a bus yard .

Emma is sitting outside, board, maybe playing with a lighter? Sparks on her fingers. Closer up she has soot on her fingers and a smudge on her face.

Francis parks and Emma jumps up, seems like she wants to leave quickly. She's about to get sassy when she remembers she needs a ride and is more cooperative than usual.

Her new friends aren't people her mom would approve of but Emma says her mom wouldn't like anyone who's "fun."

She hears a noise and becomes protective of her backpack and wants to leave.

Francis tries to Convince her using "Fearsome" uncle tag.

Emma gives in a little by saying “We were having some fun in maybe what someone might consider their territory, and I think it might be good if we left now."

Francis Investigates the bus yard, using his mutations to enhance his eyesight.

Francis knows this area is Bo Peep's territory.

He looks for suspicious movement and spots something moving in the shadows. Then, he sees a flash of something reflective and green in the backpack Emma is protecting.

The Red Button

-Ryan assess’s that Dr Worth is no threat
-grabs files on the desk and puts in bag,
-checks door that was unexplored last time, finds an occupied surveillance room
-tries to bluff that he’s authority figure, but it doesn’t work,
-Person hits Red alarm button and runs out of the room
-Ryan begins to look at tearing out all the wires of this room

Drink on the job Mark

-Kit fools the 2 hazmat dudes by disguising as “drinking on the job Mark”
-they were “supposed to do a harvest”
-Kit tells them to clean themselves up and he’ll take care of the harvest
-on way out tries to jam door shut, but instead jams it open

What Are You?

-Dee joins Mora and they head into the greenhouse
-They see a tree
-bark is distorted pinkish grey
-tiny silver leaves
-pale orange flower buds
-rich purple colored fruits
-some branches are stark white.

-floor is littered with dead bees
-Dee feels Deja Vu and the Chittering in back of Mora’s head stops
-Dee mentions taking flowers but instead Mora circles the tree
-Tree has human torso and face fused into bark, rib bones extend out and are white branches, knotty wood covered heart
-Tree looks at Mora and say’s “what are you”
-Tree talkes and here’s some cool things it said

• -it is called “wretched”
  
• -“you are like us” to Mora
  
• -“twisting life and death together”
  
• -“twisted us, planted us and it hurt!”
  
• -“we want it to end, they won’t let us sleep”
  

-Dee walks into Trees line of sight and messes it all up
-Wretched is angry at Dee,

• calls her “Deliah Cooper” which is Dee’s time travel nickname
  
• “you didn’t come back for us”
  
• -Wretched attacks Dee and Mora tries to get it to stop
  
• -“we have no friends we were abandoned”
  

-Kit has heard the noise by now, Ryan has seen it on the monitors in the room
-Kit heads into the greenhouse and feels their veins reacting to the tree
-Wretched say’s “more of you!” Continues attack as Dee gets out the Mask

An Unexpected Visitor

-Eugenia tries to talk to Isaac but he doesn’t remember anything which Sarah said is “to be expected with my condition”
-A car pulls up next to them, 2 large figures get out and surround Eugenia’s car
-Eugenia convinces driver to go straight to the estate when she steps out of the car
-when he does the cops chase after the car
-Eugenia confronts them and they say they “wanted the other one”
-Vanessa Caliburn is in the car and tells Eugenia to get in so they can talk ???The officers seem overly curious about Isaac.???

Hot Pursuit

-as Francis and Emma are cycling out of Eastside there’s a thump on the Bike
-There seems to be 2 teenagers that are flying? or running really fast? because Francis speeds up but can’t outrun them
-They try to grab Emma, Francis grows extra arms and kicks some ass
-They escape and head to Ragnorok
-Emma is shocked by what Francis did as he sheds his arms on the ground

Shoreline Group

-Ryan realized he has no time, so he hits Dr Worth with a taser. Then threatens to do more if she doesn’t tell him more
-She reveals it was created by something called “Shoreline Group”, Helix just found it
-Ryan acquires a hard drive

Wretched

-back in the Greenhouse Dee, Mora, and Kit all try to calm down Wretched.
-Ryan pops in, takes a few pics, and goes to try to lock doors to slow down the guards to buy more time
-Wretched says,

• grow, cut, harvest her.
  
• she was left alone so long
  
• now they cut her more
  
• Deliah you said you’d come back, look what they did to me
  
• they twisted,injected, I grew until I found the earth and they built me my glass house
  

-all attempts to calm Wretched have failed and Mora tells the others to go so she can do what has to be done
-Kit refuses to leave
-tree blocks Dee from leaving
-Mora shoots it in the heart
-Kit uses blue flame katanas and we learn the tree is very flammable
-learn that the sap is acid
-Dee takes final shot and tree says “thank you Deliah”
-voices in Mora’s head cry out in mourning
-The mask on Dee does the same
-Kits heart rate returned to normal
-before they leave Mora grabbed a branch of the tree

An Unlikely Alliance

-Vanessa Caliburn says

• they have a common enemy Helene
  
• -said Max is nothing more than a bastard
  
• -offers an Alliance against her
  
• -she’ll give inside information and Eugenia provide force from the outside
  
• -don’t want Helene’s puppets (New Camlen’s)
  
• -She reminds us that Percival is a dick
  
• -They support the Tizon’s ascending
  
• -she said Isaac is a pawn gone rogue, she’d rather not reveal her hand yet
  

-Vanessa loses interest when Eugenia tell her of Isaac’s memory loss
-drop her at the gate because the house doesn’t like her

-Francis explains to Emma what Felicity can’t see
-She shows him that she can do cool fire stuff
-item in bag is a BEAR SHAPED BEER BOTTLE from Blonski’s Brewery
-rare, 1980’s sometime, not worth a lot
-She stole it from Bear’s old crew she had help but they got separated
-She stole for Ty’s crew
-she also hinted that she thinks Francis had something to do with Bears death
-2 that attacked them are called Ash and Dust, she thinks she can handle them
-Francis keeps the bottle

Follow Me Assholes

-Ryan throws Molotov cocktail at 4 guards
-Dee creates a portal
-portal goes wrong and 4 assholes burst out of Eugenia Excalibur’s closet just as she’s getting out of her wet clothes
-Close with Eugenia saying “I have questions”

Mid-credits scene

Francis lets Emma know that if she ever wants to talk about this new ability she has, he’ll be there to listen.

Geek out After the Credits

-sap is probably the same as in Kit, but it’s been corrupted
-bees probably pollinating tree but dying because of it
-this episode of the black report has DM approved information.
-this was a big episode for Mora emotionally, any theme attentions?
-Emma walked in on Felicity and Lucas doin it
-Talked about how this all began as a one-shot with randomly assigned characters

What’s Next

-Francis wants to talk to Kit about what’s going on with the Brewery and the beasts
-Fight Club is next for whoever wants to do it
-Kit will pass and spend a night with Ikeda’s
-reminded Dee that she wanted to loot Naga’s shop
-Mora decided to share some of the pay with Dee and Kit
-Ryan sold his car to get enough money
-Mentioned that Excalibur promised to help Ramesh and Henrietta with Hollows problem
-Mora mentioned bringing samples to Francis’s forensics guy at Ragnorok
-Ryan has no reason to suspect that the tree is Alexandria, but I think it is
