211: Monday Caper

General Summary

Monday Caper: Which one is right?

It’s Monday after the big Wedding. Eugenia discusses the vote with Percival then goes to the Camlenn estate to confront Sarah. Francis and Felicity visit a new character to figure out what was in the drinks, and what’s that chunk in his fist. Then an emotional visit to Nona. Mora, Kit Dee, join Ryan Roswell in an infiltration of a presumed abandoned Helix Lab.

Intro: Downtime Montages

Ryan has lined his new apartment in tinfoil and crafted some DIY items for the upcoming heist.

Mora cased the Helix location for 3 clues. (Revealed later in game)

Francis told Felicity about Bluestone Company and healed.

Kit informed us they now work for YUM! Food delivery and they are sometimes gullible victims of baby con artists! At least they recovered their burnt power tag of “Hypnotic Suggest.”

Eugenia received a dossier from Prescilla with info on the new Camlenn’s despite still being absent from her usual duties.

Dee went to the shooting range for an attention on “Been Around” theme which can now LEVEL UP.

Eugenia! To Me!

Eugenia returns to the estate to find that Percival just returned for health treatments. Teddy is injecting him with these treatments.

Eugenia discusses chess pieces, the cake, and the upcoming votes regarding the Camlenns and Sarah.

New Camlenn’s?????

Eugenia discovers the family resides in Hilltop. Constantine Stan Eisenschmidt.

The family have been guests of Caliburns for month and a half.

They are legit descendants, however, the family renounced Camlenn last name to follow love years ago.

3 Options:

1. Accept new Camlenns and Caliburns control of them. Sarah is dismissed.
2. Reject new Camlenns and keep Sarah in place as Head of House Camlann.
3. Win new Camlenns over to “our side”, keep Sarah as head of House Camlann.

Percival proposes a 4th option, murder, but allows Eugenia to lead on this matter for the time being. “Wink”

Sawbones

Francis and Felicity each want to bring the samples to an expert; liquid from the wedding drinks and a chunk of Roselyn’s face.

Carmen 'Sawbones' Plato-Morris : Turns out to be the same person. By day, she works in police forensics. By night, she lives in an apartment above Tooth and Nail and helps to patch up fighters at Ragnorok.

She’s hilariously morbid.

Her first impression is that the chunk is some kind of bone.

She promises to analyze the bone and mystery drink, she'll have results by the end of the week.

Felicity drops info that Emma is out with friends tonight.

Felicity is pissed that Francis punched a girl at the wedding and didn’t tell her.

YUM! DELIVERY!

Mora, Kit, Ryan, and Dee arrive at ramp across from Helix location.

According to reports Ryan discovered, the building is no longer in use but Aegis security still has an active contract.

The office building is connected to a warehouse.

Initial investigation showed signs of active guards but not many.

Kit dons their YUM! uniform and creates an illusion of conviene store junk food. They easily convince the guards and slip inside the building.

Glancing at the computer, Kit finds the guard was looking at Renaldo Sanchez Fanfic.

A number of guards are in the break room.

Kit finds a side door where an employee was drinking a beer on the fire escape. Kit removes a brick, locking “Drunk on the job Mark’ out of the building. Gives the all clear signal to the crew.

Dee uses her door hopping power to instantly transport Ryan, Mora and herself into the building. They begin to investigate the floors.

After finding nothing on 4th floor, Ryan rants about the phones and how using them is what let in the computer freaky dude at the wedding. Of course no one listens. Kit asks if Raven can meet him. Ryan wants the photos from the Hollows in exchange.

Ryan and Mora go to 3rd floor. They find 3 doors with keypads on them.

They find the door handle is noticeably cold to the touch.

FLASHBACK!! Ryan reveals that he took the opportunity of a frozen Helene Caliburn to lift an impression of her finger at the wedding.

The fingerprint works and Ryan and Mora can now open the door.

CAMLENN ESTATE

The Winegarden houses have Mythos powers that reflect their families.

The Camlann estate creates Eugenia's preferred drink (Port), welcomes her.

The house is dark except for a single lit corridor that leads her to where Sarah is socializing.

Isaac (Prone Man) is playing Mahjong with Sarah and 2 ghosts. Sarah dismisses them so they can talk.

Eugenia tries to engage Sarah and understand what she wants in regards to her position and involvement with the families. Sarah has no f*cks left.

Eugenia promises to help her burn the Caliburns to the ground if it comes to that.

Sarah does not recognize the new Camlenns, regardless of blood.

She reminds Eugenia that she’s not blood, but she has always been a Camlann.

Sarah has a moment where she reflects back to happier times and thinks of what could have been before Basil died. Her grief and cold demeanor quickly return.

They discuss Tizons and Geiss as possible replacements for the Camlenns if Sarah dissolves the house.

Sarah tells Eugenia to take Isaac, she has no more use for him.

She claims her “friends” looked through him and weren’t gentle "He’ll never be the same."

Sarah dismisses Eugenia and ends the conversation by stating, "Do not return until I am dead."

Nona

Francis and Felicity go to the Brownstone and walk in Nona’s open kitchen door.

They enter and find Golda, Ravyns Gran, sitting at the kitchen table. She is very confused and waiting for Nona to return.

Golda says “Marcella asked me to coffee.” (Nona) She starts talking and then hums.

Francis walks through the different rooms. He notices odd happenings; the TV turns off, sink faucets turn on. Felicity is incredulous and impatient with Francis. Tells him he turned on the tv and faucet.

None of the lights work. Uses a candle as light. Has a soft golden glow.

A voice suggests he 'investigate" the empty room.

Francis calls out “Nona!” in a seemingly empty room. Ghost furniture seen in his perrefereals.

"I'm in the kitchen, Dino." She's cooking something on the stove. Seems unaware of time.

She's confused and calling Francis, Rocco- her husband and thinks Felicity is Fiona.

"We're gonna go somewhere. We're gonna ride the river and forget."

Francis "Sees Through the Mist" looking for answers. He looks through the lens of his Berserker Mythos. 2 clues.

1. Second lens grows over his eyelid and he sees a battlefield, Nona is all in white. The mangled Dead are coming to Nona at the river. They are crying and screaming until she washes them with the water and they lose all emotion. They step in the river in float down. Nona's Mythos is the River Lyffe and about to go avatar and take everyone with her.
2. Strengthen her Logos to remind her of humanity. That will stop her.

Francis reminds her who they are "Family" and appeal to her for help. "I have too many questions to forget."

Francis asks about Bluestone. She says she'll "take all the pain away."

We realize all the weird stuff in the apartment was Francis, he kept forgetting. It was brilliant

Freezer Door

A large cold door opens to a walk-in freezer. Ryan and Mora go in.

Lots of crates of velvety purple fruit and frozen scientific samples of bees.

Mora takes a fruit and a frozen bee.

She finds a freight elevator and a door to the next room. She takes door #2.

They find a science lab and the creepy doctor with her mirror.

Doctor tries to go for the mirror and Mora shoots it.

She introduces herself as Dr. Worth.

Mora sees a large greenhouse in the warehouse.

They gather the fruit to study properties. The fruit has interesting effects on “special” individuals.

When asked who's in charge of this project, Dr replied "all of us."

She refers to Mora as the rogue theta. Theta program was terminated.

3rd attention on "Spirit of Vengeance" Level Up

The Grappling Hook

2nd floor Dee and Kit find old 50-60’s evil noir lab equipment in storage.

They head to roof, Dee pulls out antique grappling hook.

Helipad on the roof, exhaust pipes, satillights and other equipment, roof to connected warehouse.

They see a greenhouse in the center of an otherwise empty warehouse, all dark but lit from within. Antique grappling hook shenanigans ensue.

Kit gets attention on "Trickster Fox Spirit"

Kit avoids a camera and falls, takes a 2 bruise.

Dee gets tangled in a enchanted and flirty rope, 1 entangled.

They both end up on top of a first story office inside the warehouse.

A pipe from the office that is connected to the Warehouse. Dee tells Kit to go across.

Dr Worth’s Bargain

Dr. Worth's office overlooks the warehouse. Ryan and Mora see Dee and Kit repelling (and falling) down into the Warehouse.

"Tell me what you know about Theta." Dr. Worth says she thought all the Theta’s were supposed to be dead. (She’s not wrong)

"What do you know about the goals for Theta?" Dr says "The same as all of our goals; immortality.”

Dr tries to make a deal, saying they'll never get out. She could help usher Ryan and Mora out safely.

Mora asks for "Whatever information I can get on Theta."

Mr. Black takes a moment to tell Mora to just kill the doctor but Ryan intervenes and opposes that idea.

Doctor says our friends are on “dangerous ground.” Mora asks Ryan to text Dee and Kit to tell them to stop.

Ryan sends a text from Mora's phone. "We have a sample from the greenhouse. You're in danger. Let's get out of here."

Magpie's Eye

Kit's crossing the pipe to get to greenhouse, falls and is hurt again, bruised 3.

Dee and Kit regroup on the ground and prepare to retreat but Kit envokes Magpie's Eye, Dee weakness. They decide to go snooping.

Dee takes the office while Kit moves toward the greenhouse.

The office room is full of bees. They're dormant at the moment.

The Archives

Ryan sends a text to Eugenia from Mora's phone that the crew might need help or an extraction. Stand by...

The doctor tells Mora “Theta” has been terminated for years and info can only be found in the Archives at 3 locations...

The archives have info on all of the failed projects.

Ryan tries to get into the computer but Helene's fingerprint won't work on Helix.

Mora uses "Absorb Life Essence" on the doctor to wipe her memory.

Mora's is powered by something and can draw energy from the living to fill that energy through touch. Her eyes crackle with energy.

1 Adeled on the doctor and Mora gains 1 Juice.

Ryan uses his Nuralizer to memory wipe her, Adeled 3. Very fuzzy memory of this encounter.

They leave and head down the stairs to the warehouse.

The Greenhouse

Kit takes a picture of the SG etched into the glass of the greenhouse.

Kit enters first door. There's a control panel, wooden table walkie talkie and phone.

says hello on the walkie talkie, a male voice answers.

Dee is in the office of Bees. She hears a switch flip and sees a small group of bees rush through pipe to the greenhouse.

Greenhouse door is locked so Kit knocks in a pattern, looking for communication from inside.

Dee runs to the greenhouse as Ryan and Mora arrive to stop Kit.

The bees buzz inside the greenhouse then go quiet.

A double knock sounds from inside the greenhouse. Kit suggests there could be someone like Mora.

the crew debates then decide to get out of here and there’s a knock knock at the door

-2 guards in hazmat suits carrying crates come toward greenhouse -Dee uses door and hops us to the WErewolves cafe

Light a Candle for me Francis

-Francis reminds Nona that Fioana (Ma) needs our help -Nona says -Bluestone shut us up with a check -carving it made the women sick -women had to because it drove the men crazy -slick, cold -pieces, knucklbones, femur -ground up got in our lungs -she’s ready to remember -She remembers that she died, and she moves on -Ravens Grandmother remembers Raven and rushes off -end with Francis holding Felicity’s hand at the kitchen table
