Rillyon (Rilly-On)

The city of Rillyon stands on the south east coast of the continent of Seldamar on the planet of Silusia-Alpha, where the river Okrell meets the sea. It is the capital of the Rain Cities League which is an alliance of six major cities in the region, four on land and two underwater, plus a number of their minor satellite towns. Rillyon hosts a spaceport and is the defacto capital of the planet.

Demographics

Rillyon is a cosmopolitan city and owing to the peculiar history of Silusia Alpha, it has the most mixed population of any city of comparable size within the Bubble and possibly within the wider galactic region. In the 26th century, aproximately seventy five percent of the city residents are native bilachai, with most of the remainder being thinderin. There is a small quarter given over to around two thousand werm and an enclave of some six hundred human settlers who have also made their home here.

Districts

In the image at the head of this article, we see the Okrell Banks district in central Rillyon. This is the commercial heart of the city.
The image below shows the south harbour region. Out beyond the bay is the shipping route to the continent of Gethan, and the undersea city of Eastedge. To the south, from the right of the image, the coast road runs to Eryl Point via the jungle preserve where the Temple of Chromatic Enlightenment sits both on and within an ancient and intricately carved hill overlooking the route.
