Imran was the King of Earth during the uprising against the 4th dynasty of the Resource Management World Government which began in 2533.
Elected to the role in 2523 and re-elected every second year until 2535, he served as a figurehead for the military, acting as a swashbuckling symbol of virile conquest and decisive action at the head of his own elite force of Zed Men. Seen as a more glamorous focus of political drama than the staid Bureau of Economic Affairs, Imran used his undoubted charm and charisma to make himself a strong King, but he is widely considered to have made a political mistake in the way he handled the London Grumble in 2526 and was never as popular as Katarina, the Queen of Earth first elected just a year before him, who almost always outsmarted him in their political games.
His reign was brought to an end with the final fall of the 4th dynasty of the Resource Management World Government in 2538.
