Hessuru
Hessuru was a salt mother serving the Light Guards at the Temple of Chromatic Enlightenment and the designated "fusheyea" for the human pilgrim band of 2534. As such she was responsible for looking after their physical needs for food and accomodation within the pilgrim village and was in charge of organising "fushem" to serve the individual pilgrims.
Spoiler: Hessuru's Fate
Hessuru was from a high status Bilachai family and had access rights to a nursery site on the sea bed close to the Temple, which she very generously ceded to Rahelo and Frenane when they would otherwise have been shamed with no formal place to give birth. Hessuru was unlucky enough to be caught up in the military actions of the Zed Men who sought to take Achmed Shankar by force before the white meditations and she was tortured and killed by them at the pilgrim village.
