Matexism

Matexism is a sub-culture that has spread more or less across the entire world of Ikkaril. They believe that the world was created in unison by the Creator Gods: Magadin, Ayanna, Taskari, Kaenesh, Xurug, and Hildea.

The Creed

You shall be committed to the Creator Gods and to what you hold important. You shall care for all the children of the Gods; for they are all your family. You shall seek to understand that which you do not.   You shall seek inner peace to become closer with the Gods. You shall not speak in the Gods' places. You shall be truthful.   You shall not abuse power in any form. You shall not take or use a life as if it belongs to you. You shall not cause the destruction of that which isn't yours.   You shall not unleash your angers onto others. You shall not let fear overtake your judgment. You shall not take vengeance; only justice and only when absolutely necessary.   You shall offer your service to those in need. You shall be united or seek unity if there is none. You shall not betray others, yourself or the Gods.   You shall persevere and be rewarded. You shall reach for perfection even knowing you can never attain it, for to be perfect is to be a Creator God. You shall teach your children to question the world, so they too may explore the Gods' creation.   You shall protect the Realm to the best of your abilities. You shall answer the Call; should it call in your lifetime. You shall prepare the Gods' youngest, should they have to answer the call in your stead.
