Bantu Hollow Character in The Black Thorne Continent | World Anvil

Bantu Hollow

Priest

Bantu has always been a child of faith. His parents are metal and woodworkers specializing in piping and design, some of their best work is still up on the ceiling of The Jongiwe God Tree and beyond.

Him being male made him extremely valuable amongst the people of God's Window, with many fighting for the chance to be 'seeded' by him.

Talent

His talent was enough to easily make him a Grounds Keeper. But the call of the Gods Of Nature made him give up on that, instead of focusing on theology and building his own congregation.

Besides, speaking, he has slowly built up a love for woodworking, which helped him become unique even amongst other churchgoers as his works built him an extreme reputation for creating brilliant and complex items that blow people's mind to, in their own way, honour his parents.

Travel

He was born in the first God Tree and soon was on the road with his father and mother. They worked metal and wood, designing and shaping them perfectly for the purpose of unique and sustainable structures, including massive superstructures. They were geniuses.

It was an abstract job title as it wasn't one at all, but their name became 'hollow'. To get new business, they would travel along with their goods to move from level to level, tree to tree. And inside of it was his faith growing constantly until he found others who loved Nature and their competition with nature until he decided to go to church.
