Relaxed environment, and great prices given the area ($7 for standard drinks). We had a great time, relaxing and talking (didn't have to yell to be heard). It wasn't hard to find a table but about an hour later and the bar got packed. The bartenders were everything you wanted them to be. Unpretentious and attentive. Even when they were busy, they would give a nod to let you know that they'll be right with you.


Note: the bathrooms were clean and spacious.

11th Street Bar is the headquarters for the 11th Street Watch, a group of veterans turned monster hunting neighborhood watch. While the bar may look like any other dive bar, there's a fully automatic under the bar, grenades in the drinks cabinet and a backroom filled with crosses, holy water and flamethrowers.
