Murzrak

First Mate

Murzrak is an unusual first mate to find on an Imperial vessel, for he is a blue Dragonborn, ancestor of those known to be allied to the evil chromatic Dragons.
Yet Murzrak is a respected and experienced naval commander. The reason for this is that he was brought up outside the confines of his own people. His egg was found by the Battlehands clan of Dwarves during an expedition into the caverns beneath the Balnoque Spine.
Rather than destroying the egg, the Dwarves returned it to Koldor's Hold and when it hatched they raised the young creature.
Murzrak has always felt like an outside however, and left the Battlehands behind when he came of age, travelling east to the sea, where he found it's deep blue waters a reflection of his own scales and heart.

Appearance and Mannerisms

Standing tall and proud, Murzrak cuts an impressive figure as he stands on the prow of The Smokestreak, his cerulean blue scales glistening.
Murzrak takes great pride in his personal appearance, and his claws are always neatly trimmed, his clothing pressed and clean.
He wears clean white shirts, paired with a bicorn hat and a kilt in the green and navy plaid design of the Battlehands clan of Dwarves.

Notable Achievements

Despite the fell reputation of his species, Murzrak has become a well-liked and respected first mate. He has an unbreakable bond with his captain Aldred Mollor.
