Hama

Hama is an ancient dryad that lives in one of the ancient oaks located in the Amber Market of Ambercove.
Whilst many of the city's population know of them, their benevolent presence is felt rather than seen. They only appear to others on rare occasions. Consequently little is actually known about Hama for sure, only by conjecture and rumour.
Whist Hama's true intentions are not known, the populace of the city generally view her as a kindly spirit, and often leave benedictions and gifts within the roots of her tree.
Hama is rumoured to be the main representative of the Old Faith within the Amber Coast region of the Cerulean Empire.

Appearance and Mannerisms

Hama is more androgynous than many of her species, showing both female and male traits. Their fine features are sharp and chiselled, and despite their great age they move with an easy grace and an almost languorous manner.
They wears their leaf coverings in two great bundles, one across their head and the other across their chest. The colours of their skin and leaves vary with the season.

Notable Achievements

Hama rarely gets involved in the politics of the Empire but has, in extreme circumstances, been known to carry messages to her kin within the Fearwyd Weald on behalf of the Archduke.
