Nanorobotics encompasses the following:

Terminating Nanites - Nanites programmed before injection. They do their work and then die off.

Colonizing Nanites - Nanites programmed to create a nanofactory implant in the host body for long term purposes.

Nanite Swarm Weaponry - Nanites designed to reorganize materials into base molecules, primarily for aggressive purposes.

Nanomorphics - Nanites designed to pull carbon from the environment (or an unfortunate host) to create an amorphous robot.

Necronics - Nanites designed to hijack organic, usually dead cells. These cells are restructured to be able to operate on their own for the purpose of reanimating a corpse into a Necroid.
