Crew of the Aphelion

"Expediting crew assembly was crucial during the Space Rush. While ideal candidates were scarce, our Rover-class program demanded swift deployment. Supplementing crews with Astrinex clones, synthetics and versatile Spacemonkeys ensured flexibility. It's pragmatism, not compromise."   ~Neeka Astrinea, CAO of Luminar BioTech

Hiring Surge

Luminar BioTech's rapid expansion led to reliance on resume references over rigorous qualifications. Mass production of Rover-class ships necessitated efficient crew assembly. General Duty Technicians, the fabled Spacemonkey, filled gaps with adaptable skills. Astrinex clones and synthetics bolstered crews.

Best Chance to Pioneer

For many Aphelion crew members, this mission represents a final opportunity to explore the unknown and leave a mark. Veterans and newcomers alike seize the chance, driven by humanity's innate urge for discovery. The Space Rush revitalizes hopes.

Duct Taped Morale

Captain Chet Jaycen's decision to sell the crew's alcohol ration on Pluto sparked near-mutiny. His persuasive nature, vodka replacement rations, and the leveled Smartguns of Major Lucielle Justo's Aphelion Security Team appeased tensions temporarily. Post-crash, Jaycen maintains control, but fragile morale may unravel. Crew loyalty hangs in the balance, largely dependant on Major Justo and Dr. Camellion's continued loyalty. Of the fifty-crew complement, six died to the Zhrak boarders and thirteen died in the crash.
