Ballyfa
Ballyfa is a town in the Cahir Plains and an important manufacturing centre for the Republic of Cahir. It was first settled in the later years of the Pinascimate Penal Authority by Terstánach settlers moving into the region. During the Great Revolution, the town was liberated from People's Republic of Lordania by a cell of the Tersten Resistance led by Finn Byrne. During the Interregnum that followed, the Republic of the Humble Servants of God declared their ownership of the entire Cahir Plains, leading to the creation of the Republic of Cahir and the brief Cahir Independence War. Many battles were fought near Ballyfa, with several buildings having light received damage, much of which can still be seen today. Today, Ballyfa is a major industrial centre, reliant on the waters of the nearby Souls Lake and the Wells River.
