Glaciers
General Details
The Glaciers are one of the oldest families, having left the home land of the Elves back in the first dark age. They would spend the end of the first Dark Age and early part of the First Era working to form the empire that exists today. While they are the rulers, the way their land is controlled, means technically the Glaciers are not High Lords, as they don't have any kingdom directly under their control. They once did rule Helmi Tielte, however ruling the empire meant they began to ignore the elves who lived through Helmi Teilte, outside of Maril Osto. So to avoid a localised rebellion High King Eriladar Glacier had the lords of Lacare take the role of steward and hand them the title of high lord of Helmi Tielte.

A five pronged crown, each prong has a gemstone representing the High Families; Othranar, Carnen, Culverin, Dagamer, Reylar. The order is as seen, with the middle gem stone in the list, being the middle in the crown.
Family Weapon:
The Glacier royal weapon is a large war spear. This spear was crafted by Kedereus for Erthad during the first dark age. A beautiful steel spear, that seems to look like it's make from pure ice.

The Elven Exodus was a period in the First Dark Age where the once united Elven people split, from a singular group of Elves ruled by multiple kings and lords, to distinct and different races. The Elves that left Ardamire would become known as the Snow Elves and the Wood Elves, with those who remained adopting the title Island Elves.

High King Alsorin Glacier, was not like his father or grandfather, neither a great strategist nor a great warrior. However, his reign is arguably the more consequential of any Snow Elven king.
Alsorin would set in reforms that have kept the Glacier empire together to the modern day. He removed the Glaciers as High Lords, removing any view that they were not an unbiased king. He also solidified the Dukes right, ensuring all his High Lords were satisfied with the new empire that they were apart of and ending any chance of sedition for centuries. On top of all of this, he helped form Maril Osto into the city it is today.
Recent History
The region has recently experienced a run of terrible leaders, meaning the centeral government approach that had made the Glacier empire so strong had completly collapsed by the time High King Sapthan Glacier took the throne.
High King Sapthan Glacier would take the throne and begin to reforge the empire alongside Calneris Carnen and his trusty steward, Angardil Culverin. The reforging of the empire would bring about the fourth Golden Age of the Snow Elves, however it would end abruptly when High King Sapthan Glacier died suddenly.
Now High king Filarion Glacier rules and the Golden age has completely collapsed.
