Cliffedges
The Cliffedges is a large mountain range spanning the entire west coast of the main continent of Terratos. These mountain ranges are mostly uninhabited with the exception of wild goats, eagles, wyverns and golems. The mountain range is bordered on the east side by another large forest spanning from the northern to the southern shore. These forests are home to most of the wildlife that is also present in the Erlian Forest, with the addition of crawlers, lurkers, snakes, and nightmares.
Both the mountain range and the surrounding forest are for the most part untouched by civilization. With only two permanent mining settlements of The Crimson Empire.
Geography
The Cliffedges is a gargantuan mountain range covering the entire northeast side of Ethonia, forming a natural border with Norheimsk.
Cliffedges also borders the ocean in the north and east and contains two rivers leading into the ocean, as well as one river leading into the Sea of the Dead.
The center of the Cliffedges is divided by a dense forest, in which two settlements are located.
The only safe way to traverse the Cliffedges is through a large dwarven made tunnel connecting The Citadel and Hing.
Fauna & Flora
On the mountains itself, there is barely any flora to be seen, except for a few shrubberies and pine trees.
The center forest, on the other hand, has densely packed trees and plants, making traversal treacherous, to say the least. The forest is home to a whole plethora of wildlife, including:
- Deer
- Wolves
- Boars
- Foxes
- Bears
- Trolls
- Goblins
- Krolls
- Spriggans
- Crawlers
- Lurkers
- Snakes
- Nightmares
- Wild goats
- Eagles
- Golems
- Wyverns (rumored)
