Kobenhavn Volcano
Although currently dormant, Kobenhavn has erupted numerous times in the past. Now a combination of ashen wastes and verdant greenery, the area is home to numerous elementals. Just under the ash, layers of past cities can be found, buried beneath the last episode of the volcano’s fury.
History
Rumors and Tales:
• It is rumored that a magma forge that can smith amazing weapons and armor exists in the volcano, guarded by magma elementals and denizens of the Plane of Fire.
• In fact, it is said that a gate to the Plane of Fire is located in the volcano.
• One of the previous and older civilizations that lived on the island had mastered a strange technology that relied on sound and acoustics to function. This civilization, of course, died in a volcanic eruption.
• Ghosts can sometimes be seen in the ruins. They are sad cus they died suddenly.
• There are unconfirmed rumors of an old dragon that lives on the island, but there are just as many that suggest the dragon is dead now and its horde is ripe for the taking. Those who have searched for this supposed treasure horde never return.
• Amidst the greenery of the regrowing forests lies a shrine and memorial dedicated to those who lost their lives in the eruptions over the centuries. Every few months or so, someone comes by to leave flowers and offerings. No one knows who it is.
