Yak
Yak is the a large cattle native in the Grand Range. With a thick fur and bulky body, it is able to travel across the mountain for a very long time, and such being demesticated and used as a working animal for the people of Yuglen.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Yaks are heavily built animals with bulky frames, sturdy legs, rounded, cloven hooves, and extremely dense, long fur that hangs down lower than the belly. They have small ears and wide foreheads, with smooth horns that are generally dark in color.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Though Yak are herbivores, they can't fed grains; only eat grass or small plant like flowers and lichen as a main diet. They can survive in the high attitudes without eating much but would be dead if there are no grass.

Uses, Products & Exploitation
They're being used as a working animal, capable of carrying loads to 1,000 kg. They are also being used to draw ploughs.
They are being domesticated by those people for their milks, fibres, and meats. Yak milk are being used as the ingredient for Yuglen cuisine as well as its cheese and butter. Yak wool has been tailtored for making coats and other accessory. Yak horn is also great for decoration, being sold to the southern people via Yuglen trader.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Herd of wild yaks can be found in the highland of the Grand Range outside the South Estisia, though having less population than domestic yak.
Depending on domestication, Yak fur can be found in variation of brown, black, and cream.
