Further south from the Grand Palace of Valone, a marble statue was placed at the center of the square paving with granite sett. His name is Val the great, who standed on round, dark granite column. On the front, a marble plaque was engraved his quote saying:
PROTECT THE WISDOM
PROTECT THE FUTURE

Purpose / Function

It's a tribute the king's leadership and intelligence of Valonian's 1st king.

Alterations

There're no statue at the time, just grass field, until the government decided to redesigned and paved the floor. They installed statue on center of the field.

Architecture

The statue's precisely sculpted on with roman style. While the column are craving out of one giant brick.
All those material came form the great quarry, which own by kingdom.

The statue of the man wearing tunic stand, his left hand held opened book while the other hand raised up, facing toward the north where Tower of Valone is.

History

In 26 BVE, the original statue was demolished by men from the Empire of Kritus and replaced with a cruxified Angus Iris, the leader of the First Sacked, to remain Valonian not to mess with them. His body had been tied for almost ten years, and whoever attempted to take him down was heavily punished.

After the Second Sacked succeeded in librerating the city, the body of Angus was taken down, and being replaced with new sculpture of the same Val.
