Iron Limbs
Iron Limbs are metal prostheses to replace missing parts of the body. It's first developed at Ohugas, Kingdom of Ohun around 9th centuries BVE, to help miners and blacksmiths to not worry about them losing their limbs by accident they did from the work in the past.
Hands and Arms
The complexity depend on purposes and what to cover. These can have no moving part or with mechanism for flexibility.
In Ohun, these are the known type of artificial hands and arms.
The Unity
The cheapest but multipurpose forearm. It's hand slot for attaching useful tools such as hook, hammer, fist, blade, and grabbing iron hand for some reason. The Unity is often used in conjunction with The Strengh for daily basis.
The Strengh
The mechanical forearm with all five fingers connected by joints and springs, with Ratchat machanism to allow user to lock fingers in place for holding items. Fingers can be either iron-filled or plated. The weight of The Strengh depends on design, despite most of then are heavy.
The Replicate
The forearm to whole arm with unique pulley system controlled by another arm without contacting the part, so they can grabbing more freely. The user must wear the special vest for this purpose, and can only support certain weight depending on rope's material.
Legs
The simplest type to make. Most of them are being crafted to look like the real legs in shape and detail, with some exception for special reasons.
Other Prosthesis
Iron Limbs can be used in other part as well.
Face Mask
For hiding their injured or embrassing facial mark. This is personally made and sometime they have to wear it for the rest of their life, even for beauty or punishment. Speaking of life, it can be used to decorate dead body as well.
Since iron is very rich in the country, anyone can get the prosthesis. For those who's born with no limbs, they will get these by the age of ten. For those who later become disabled, they can hire the blacksmith to personally made limbs for them.
Tech Distrubution
The craft of prosthetic has spreaded throughout the region by various way. Empire of Kritus was the first to acquire this a a result of the Ohugas' occupation. Then it went further down to Kingdom of Valonia through the emigration
