Durni

There are various reasons why the outsiders called the collective people around the Jungle of the Myst the Durni; Some referred to the people residing near the Durn River whereas the others to the major inhabitants of Duris - their biggest community. Nevertheless, they are well known for their jungle experience, able to easily forage and navigate throughout the mysterious jungle.

Day 9

It's been two days since we are here. The people are so kind despite their scary looks. They seem to see us so tired which is true since we run away avoiding those Krin outposts but they treated us pretty well as if they understand the pain of being conquered.

Many interesting things have been sought here. Other than trading our golds for some food, one of our crew, Casto, also brought Earth Jaguar's teeth which are believed to protect the wearer from any danger. Some merchants suggested we should hire some navigators which we do - they know the way to Lumus.

I think this trip cost us too much but for the sake of our mission. We're gonna left this place tomorrow. Let's wish us luck.

Common Myths and Legends

Durnis have lived so sparsely around the jungle for a very long time as tribes. The biggest group seem to have their home just border off the expanse where thay can communicate with more developed midlanders, making them the most civilized.

Speaking of civilized, the notable Durni's relative are those in Lumus, the birthplace of Luumism. They had a simillar culture but the jungle expert. They only live in a such city, never has a thought to expand themselves outside of its wall. According to local beliefs, it is possible that Durni might as well relate to the origin of Luumism; If Lumus is the holy site, Durni is the holy guider.

Major organizations

The majority of Durnis joined together as one in the name of Durin, the sovereign state to protect themselves from human threat. Tribal Durnis can sent their own people to get some aids from the capital Duris if nessescery.[/p
