Personal history

Legna grew up in Auqapus. Her mother, Lina, was a housewife, and her father, Marcus, was a legionary. Not much information about her family affairs but it's enough that at the age of six, her family moved out to Valone and lived here since. However, instead of her having sustainable life, she was facing unforgetable events.

In 32 BVE, Marcus was called to war to fight against the invading Empire of Kritus from the east. At the age of 10, she was the eldest daughter. At the age of 12, she was the eldest orphan. Lina took care of her since, and sometime she was brought to the marketplace she worked near the Val Forum. It was until she witnessed the Fall of Valone. The enemy walked in line from the city gate toward the forum. In such chaos, they were seperated by the escaping crowd. Before she got caught and might be sold to slavery, she hid herself in the building where Zeth spectated the situation.

Zeth was a writer, living alone at a small passionate publishing house she fequently walked by. There, she was awe by his workplace, and Zeth taught her how to manage it. With only them, she wasn't sure if she was forced to do, but she was having fun, and Zeth never harmed her. As a result, she discovered a passion for writing. However, because she was isolated from the outside, the only thing she could write was the local gossip.

One day in 26 BVE, Legna saw someone in the store front - it was Lina. It brought tears to her eyes, and so did she. She wanted her to stay, but Lina was busy with the mission from The Sacked. As she's leaving, she thanks Zeth for raising. It was a week of memery, and she never met her again. The cause became more obvious when she saw the leader of the Sacked hanging there soulless at the forus - it might be the end of Lina, too.

Quest for the Stone

I wish we do not end up on the crosses.
— L. Gilmis

Several years under Krin's control, the new law restricted Valonians to be locked inside the city. The hatred from newcomers was very harsh yet nonsense in her perspective. The adult Legna, now professional writer, forcing to do the empire's news, was still living in isolation, still hoping to get out some days. Her news became more repetitive - just like the current declining empire situation. When she heard about the resistance, she did not hasitate to join them.

On 20 BVE, the leader named Valus were looking for volunteers to seek out for the mythical stone, on which he believed, could turn the empire to dust. She joined in the group of four as such. One of them was the man who cracked the clue of such myth, Casto Hiden. The group started journey in the middle of the night, and for the first time in decade, she left the city.

With her excitement, she recorded almost every aspect of the journey using her wax tablet and her bined book. She described wherever she went. From the vintage city of Knirk, the haunting road of naked crosses, to the mythical jungle of the myst, and the holy city of Lumus. She later used these as the inspiration for her best known work: Bravestone, and so on.

Despite how exciting, the journey was so dangerous it took months and only herself and Casto managed to survive, arriving starved in the sea and almost got caught. After all, she got the actual stone and must give it to Valus, but she wanted more for how much they sacrified.

She met him in the pub. She wanted him to fund her company resources if he could achieve the goal. Valus was refused at first but after he saw a sparkling light coming from the stone he agreed with the desicion, but she must wrote news for him as well. When the deal met, she gave him a book with a stone in it.

It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen - the shimmering purple of wonder. A small stone yet contain the endless possibility. I hope he figure it out soon.
— L. GIlmis

The relationship with Casto had grown since the expedition. They eventually married in 15 BVE at the now liberated Valone. She gave birth to one son, Hiden. The national accomplish also came to her as well with the exclusive contract to write the national news for the government for the unlimited resources - as Valus promised.

After the death of her uncle in 5 BVE, she succeeded him as the new president of the company. She teach her son Hiden to be like her too, hoping to succeed her role in the future.
