Background
Kar D'Angris, the Miner is a mysterious young to middle-aged man who has successfully managed the Pavia-Pavis Town Council for most of it's history. Kar D' is said to have originally been a slave-miner held by a humanoid race in the Outer Planes, others say that he was just an ordinary slave-miner in the mines to the East under the Slave Lords in the region. His clothing and manner indicate someone from the desert and a far traveled individual who loves being around people. Regardless of his true history, Kar has two idiosyncrasy that both endear him to his townsfolk, and make him unforgettable. The first is his pet canary - Old Yella which he constantly keeps with him and often speaks to as if he were a human being. The canary is known to have been alive for many years - but there are many who think that Old Yella has been replaced over the years by identical canaries. The second idiosyncrasy is that Kar is known to travel about in the town just like an everyday merchant or customer - dressed in the clothing of a desert traveler and carrying Old Yella on his shoulder. it is only the canary that shows who he really is, along with his unique head-dress. There is said to always be a group of guards nearby but no one has been foolish enough to test Kar's security.Relationships
