Mornish

The Mornish are the dominant human culture of the present age, descended from the fractured remnants of the Imorean Empire, living primarily in the Mornlands. Their society is bound by the Church of Holy Law, and ruled by a web of kings, dukes, and barons, each sworn in fealty to those above them. Order, loyalty, and martial strength are the cornerstones of Mornish life - to serve is to be holy, to rebel is to sin.

Though united by faith and custom, regional differences run deep. The eastern Mornish cling to tradition and hierarchy, while the western folk of Othvarand are known for having a reputation as a more pragmatic and independent folk.
