Mornlands

The Mornlands are a fractured kingdom in the Imorean region, a land of warring nobles, fading authority, and restless ambitions. Once a powerful and unified realm, it has slowly unraveled into a patchwork of duchies, baronies, and city-states, each ruled by lords more loyal to their own banners than the Crown.

Though King Aumborgne III still holds court in Turvalon, his rule is weak, and true power lies with regional rulers, the merchant guilds, and the ever-watchful Church of Holy Law . The kingdom’s roads are lined with crumbling citadels, ruined keeps, and old battlefields, remnants of past wars and lost empires.

To the west, across the mountain passes, lies Othvarand a borderland claimed by the Mornlands but increasingly left to fend for itself. To the south, the land becomes wild and lawless, and beyond that, only ruin and the unknown remain.
