From his seat in Crodeux, he oversees a realm on the edge of collapse, balancing the demands of restless nobles, merchant factions, and the Church of Holy Law, all while keeping watch on the unstable frontier to the south. Though he still claims fealty to the Mornlands, many suspect that if the kingdom continues to falter, he may declare himself independent, or fall to whoever is strong enough to take his place.
