Freygarde Crossroads

The village of Freygarde Crossroads lies 10 miles north of Eleth Lilanor's main gate (at the city's north end of Kianna's district in The Sprawl). The town was built on the site where four of the Seven Eternals fought their first battle against the Lizardfolk on Myas'taran soil. The town square features a statue showing Kianna Lucent, Lorinae The Auspicious, Durgil Steelbow with his panther Dusksheen, and Charalyn The Augur defeating lizardfolk warriors. Charalyn's face has been destroyed long ago. A small chapel is built in the town, opening onto the square, commemorating the battle and the rise of The Six. Zadok the Priest, an elderly human cleric in the Hexalian Order, runs the chapel.
Several roads leave the town in various directions. The Nythenor Thoroughfare runs west to Mossward Pitch, turning northeast east of town, reaching the Rashtara Span. The Nythan Transsect begins in Eleth Lilanor to the south and passes through the Crossroads, heading north to the edges of the J'Zanassi Forest, where the J'Zan Passage continues north through the forest and the Sunlit Way skirts the forest and then runs east to the Rashtara Span. The Throden Highway leaves town to the northwest, heading to Thrask and then New Throden in the Kalaskar Swamp.
The town's economy is largely based on accommodating travelers who pass through. There's a lot of farming that goes on, both livestock, produce, and wheat. The land around the town is mostly flat, with groves of trees, and buildings in the town are mainly timber-and-thatch buildings.

Establishments

The biggest draw for travelers is the Freygarde Forks, a huge inn and stableyard on the south end of town, run by innkeeper Harriet.
