Dun Dural

Built into the mountainside on the seaward side of the southwest Horseshoe Peaks, Dun Dural is a smaller village of Coastal Dwarves. Stone houses, built in similar style to Dun Girimbor, jut out of the rock, with entrances underground. The village has many terraces, accessible from underground or by the narrow, winding, trail that snakes its way up the rock face.   Like Dun Girimbor, Dun Dural has many artisans, though their designs reflect a love of exploration and the sea, making their work distinctly different from their neighbours.   The largest exterior opening is on the largest terrace, halfway between the lowest and highest points of the village. This town square hosts town festivals and events on a regular basis.   On the north end of the village, the Dural Lift is frequently heard traveling up and down the rock face, stopping on the town square level to deliver goods to and from the village, or descending to a supply depot just above sea level, at the start of the Modaz Trail leading to Dun Modaz.
