Mortal Life

Fabien was the first champion of geminism, and co-Holy Divinar with his friend Erasin. He is known for his crusade against the Bezjan demons that had descended on the world after the First Impact. His life began in the city of Kathatas, in the devastated disunited Kingdom of Rasina. The city was sacked and his family killed, which made him flee to Rasinoplita. However the young goddess of war Gemiknight, had been watching him from the divine temple, and had grown to like the mortals resilience. She descended to Tempertaria in the form of a human to help the young Fabien get to Rasinoplita. The two developed a strong bond in those few days, and she revealed her true identity to Fabien. She blessed him with great power by giving him some of her spirit, Fabien feeling a new surge of motivation to save his home from both Bezjan and human corruption, entered the capitol of Rasinoplita. 
After an encounter with a merchant being robbed, he met a young aspiring man named Erasin. The two shared a strong desire to reform their land and make it a better place, so they teamed up to overthrow the current ineffective leadership. And after several years and one siege by the Bezjans, they took over the city, aided by the Geminist priests of the city who knew of Fabien's origins. After the successful coup, the two looked to the neighboring cities. Some were eager to join for protection against the Bezjan Demons, and others resisted. Elethor was the most hard to subdue, as the king had betrayed Geminism and been blessed by the Bezjan god of Greed. But after one defeat and one victory, the city was pacified. After a few hard years of campaigning, the entire basket and the Sarili colonies were back in the Kingdom for good. Rasina was now strong enough to resist Bezjan incursions, but other Geminist states were still struggling. Fabien seeing this, sent a delegation over to the Upper Hierophant of Geminism, to request a crusade against the Bezjan gateway in Taria. He accepted and declared the Golden Crusade, or as some remember it, Fabien's Crusade. The Armies of Fabien plunged into Taria, liberating cities left, right, up, and down the coast, but soon disaster struck.
Fabien was ambushed deep in Bezjan territory, and was stuck being besieged in a small ruined town for two gruesome years. But he held out with his core force there, until the Upper Hierophant and his army of fresh Artesjan soldiers, relieved his forces. The two armies joined and marched to the Bezjan gateway, and after a great sacrifice by the Upper Hierophant, the battle was won. Fabien and his core force entered the Bezjan homeland, with only a small force returning after the gateway closed. Fabien had given his life to kill the Bezjan Overlord and close the gateway.

Sexuality

Fabien was not concerned with sexual matters and didn't quite get what the fuss was about, in other words he was asexual. Artemis once tried to explain what the deal was but fabien was left even more confused.

Education

Fabien was pretty well educated for his time as a child but missed out on most of it due to his school burning down, oh and his entire home city. Pretty rough childhood. He did however learn to read when he teamed up with Erasin as well as learning a touch of theology.

Mental Trauma

Having the city he lived in sacked probably didn't do wonders for his upbringing, but being blessed by the gods does make you better at moving on from those things... Atleast a bit.

Intellectual Characteristics

Definetly has an eye for military matters, those who served under him couldn't help but appreciate the sheer gravitas his words held. Even if those words were often

"Clean your damn armor soldier, what kind of vacation do you think you're on?"

He was also a natural with the sword but the gods could have something to do with that.

Morality & Philosophy

Fabien had the good sense to not let his divine blessing corrupt him with pride, he didn't think of himself as superior to anyone else. He did however not sweat the "small" details of how he could gain enough power to destroy the Bezjans. In other words, if it was more convenient to do so he'd take the less moral option depending ofcourse on how immoral it was. It was not something he took great pleasure in, not at all. But, he didn't exactly lose any sleep over it either.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

Fabien is under the belief that his life is one simple mission, destroy the Bezjans. Since the sack of Kathatas that has been his single motivation, a single flame in his heart that keeps on burning strong. He has however over time opened to the possibilty that his life could be more than endless missions.

Likes & Dislikes

Has a fondness for sword fighting to relieve stress and loves board games.

Vices & Personality flaws

Fabien often doesn't give anyone the benefit of the doubt and is naturally suspicious due to his upbrining. He hates the feeling of doing nothing and still scoffs a bit at others who take long breaks. He has however changed a bit for the better when he met Artemis in the divine temple.

Personality Quirks

Is very hygienic for a former soldier, unusually so. Often very awkward in casual social situations, which others are very shocked by when meeting him for the first time.

Hygiene

Enjoys bathing every day, and washes his hands atleast ten times a day. He also washes his helmet daily and cleans his scale armor atleast every week. he also washes his noble clothes every day. and he encourages his soldiers to clean their armor as much as he does. he cleans the sword of ghelfen obsessively.

Reign

Fabien was co-Holy Divinar with Erasin who managed the Divinarate while Fabien led the Geminist crusade. Therefore, there isn't much to say about his reign aside from military matters. He did however send a letter back to Erasin once, scolding his colleague for being so careless with the church.

Religious Views

Devout Geminist. He should be, he's practically part of the pantheon at this point.

Social Aptitude

His confidence when it comes to formal matters are not to be questioned or equaled by anyone. He does not have a single clue how to live a casuel existence though, unless its downtime on a mission ofcourse.

Mannerisms

Loves to clean if he doesn't have anything important going on as he hates not doing anything. He hates wasting time and understandebly hates small talk.

Hobbies & Pets

Cleaning is what this man does for fun, that and board games, they are the only timewaste he isn't immune to. He would ofcourse argue it is good for the mind and he may be right, but he knows deep down thats just an excuse.

Speech

Speaks an ancient form of Rasini and a bit of some old pannalian. No one undstands a word of that anymore though so hes learned modern Rasini and Artesjan too. He's still got a way to go with Artesjan though as he finds the language confusing and annoying to learn.

The two met after Artemis' death, though Artemis had heard of Fabien through the legends of the era of Crisis. Fabien's first thought of Artemis as a bit of a smartass but nobody is immune to the charisma of that man, so they naturally grew to become great friends
