Rasini

The Rasini were initially a branch of the Kassani that moved east in search of a more fair and kind land to cultivate than the cold of Kassathia. They arrived in the fertile plains of Bathae and made it their home from which they would grow and blossom. Being from the cold north, the Rasini were warlike and competitive. They fought over the few rare resources they could find, and moving to a more wealthy land didnt ease their bloodlust. The Rasini kingdoms of Bathae were rarely if ever at peace, and the constant armsrace between them fueled the technological and military advancement of their realms. They initially worshipped the war goddess Tirthinae which was their name for Gemiknight. Her symbol became their symbol, and is the reason that the Rasini represent themselves with the golden cup which is usually adorned with wings. They are the last remaining branch of the ancient Kassani though most Rasini have long since abandoned any real connection to that label.

Culture

Major language groups and dialects

The Heartland of their people, Bathae and the island of Saril, speaks the Ressian dialect. In the cities of Helarn and Carathia, the taefae dialect is usually spoken by both Rasini and Volitari since its a mix of the two languages.

Ideals

Beauty Ideals

The Rasini are known for their dark hair and and often colorful apparel, the most common colors usually being red, rose, orange, blue, and gold. Their clothing usually adorns complex patterns, and in especially northern parts of their land, they like to wear big capes to keep themselves warm. Their headgear more often than not, has a single feather attached. This is common in Kassani originating cultures, due to the special significance feathers have taken on.

Gender Ideals

The Rasini dont seem to pay much attention to gender with their language not making any distinction in most cases, this is also a common thing in Kassani cultures with a notable exception being the Arleni.

Major organizations

The Rasini are of course, one of the three major ethnicities that make up the Rasina Divinarate
