Church of Geminism

Stalvarnis Kalibrae

The Geminist church is a multinational religious organization with influence throughout all civilized nations of Tempertaria. It serves as an eternal bulwark against heretical influences beyond the Bezjan rifts and is in collaboration with many governments, especially Artesja, Rasina, and Kassathia. Created in the so-called "heartland", Artesja, during its early years. Back when there was no single political entity, only feuding city-states. A man named Irannov, supposedly received a vision while he was sleeping, warning him of a coming apocalypse, and encouraging him to "Save as many as you can".   Irannov now began gathering a following of devout believers in his "Nameless religion", he didn't know what to call his new church, until one night, when he gazed up into the starry heavens, and stars began streaking across it in an undulating pattern, this phenomenon was observed and recorded throughout Tempertaria. When the starstorm subsided, a new formation of celestial bodies was visible in the sky, and after careful consultation with his holiest priests, they ruled this happening a miracle and named this new star sign the Cross of Gemi, henceforth, the Nameless religion would be known as Geminism.

Attervan Garnis

Geminism was originally confined to Swedenhatius, the only place that had a dedicated place of worship for them, this had to be remedied if the religion was to ever expand. Irannov headed a large caravan to Karelja on a holy mission, to erect the second official Szantapolis. This journey, however, would bring much grief to every follower of Geminism, as when he arrived in Karelja to bring his words to the locals, he was run down by an angry farmer with a pitchfork.
Forgive him, lord, for he has absolutely no clue what he's doing.   -Last words of Patria Irannov
Despite the martyrdom of their first leader, the faithful didn't stop their journey, and when they arrived in Karelja, they did something extraordinary. Seemingly overnight, a Szantapolis sprang up, just outside of the walls of the city. The realm's ruling noble was so impressed that he offered the group a handsome amount of money to keep building these churches in his realm, but the group turned his offer down.

Gravitaas Tarai

As Geminism began to gather renown, so to did schisms occur. Discussions on the merits of accepting cash from "wealth benefactors", though, the head council of priests were all in agreement, The religion would grow corrupted if allowed to trade its favors for money, it remains open, to everyone, regardless of assets, and the more... Money happy believers would be exiled from church properties, many of them would make their way to the Fedrian kingdoms, and become influential businessmen there.   Geminism, unified, started to spread with increasing speed, through Tundraria with Priestess Ylva, to Hannanstadt with caravans of traders, the Ungri mountains by the hands of the faithful building monasteries high in mountains to aid the weary traveler, and through the Wellan wetlands on boats carrying essential aid to acid-hit towns, slowly, but surely, Artesja was becoming holy.
