Session 4: Bloody Pete Report

General Summary

This evening's session began with a bang as the team ganged up on Pete Gallagher to get info out of him, Liminal Lim'pang-Sse putting his natural instincts to caress and fondle to good use. Lacie Underalls fled the room as soon as possible, possibly to go find Captain Jobb.
After some conversation and negotiation, Nyril Swiftfall surprised the hell out of everyone by not bashing Pete's head in, before Pete went on to surprise the hell out of everyone and scream at his crew for taking unsanctioned side jobs.
Leaving Gallagher's to go find Cap. Jobb, they discovered that Cap had actually told the authorities the truth, and got a signed affadavit from him saying so before heading out to the courthouse to clear their names.
All of this has raised more questions than it has given us answers. Who set them up? And, why? And who are the three people who keep following them around, the ones in the cold suits? Cap Jobb says they seem like people discovered at the soouthern pole by a Gnomish research team that had hired his boat, the Endeavor II, for the trip. If so, they are a people that Liminal Lim'pang-Sse, the group's resident anthropologist, has never heard of before. Preliminary research is proving a dearth of info on the subject, and this is raising even more questions for our heroes.
We left them at Raythanya's, making plans and planning takes.
