Heavy Diezen

A variant Diezen Mechan, heavy Diezens are monstrous machines designed to bring heavy weapons to bear with greater ease than a regular Diezen mechan could. Communication from these is almost always done in code to fellow Diezens, as speech was deemed unneccessary to their role, leaving victims terrified with grinding, mechanical roars and groans.

Anatomy

Generally standing over seven feet tall, heavy Diezens are purpose-built to house large weapons, typically firearms or maiguns, though occasionally oversized blades or clubs will be used. These are all mounted on the arms, replacing anything that would have been below the elbow. Heads tend to sit closer to the middle of the chest area, residing roughly at the same height as an average human's head if placed side by side, being robust housings for visual and auditory receptors. Wider and heavier shins help with stability on difficult terrain and with keeping repeating firearms on target. Overall they are heavily armoured, and run on a larger than normal Maiga Harness to feed the increased power demands of their large and heavy frames.
