Trough and Barrel
One of two inns located in Pembrooke, the Trough and Barrel tilts more toward the side of ranch hand drinking establishment than visiting cattle buyer. While it does have a few rooms for let, most belong to the girls working in the kitchen, behind the bar, or upstairs, to service the ranch hands that frequent the establishment. The large common area, its floor covered in hay, is filled with long, benched tables. Pitchers of thin, golden ale flow freely and each night a different specialty - usually a stew or soup and trencher of bread - is offered in the kitchen. Once a month, after payday, the kitchens serve some of the finest steaks in Azermathia and the tables are home to fierce games of cards and dice.
