Southwest Tower
Thirdday, Thirdden, the Sun Moon, 748 AC, the Palace of the Winter Queen, Frozen Wastes
Tower Layout
The tower is accessible via a door on the ground floor. Like the other towers to the keep it rises three stores, a spiral staircase climbing in its center. The tower has two windows, one facing west and the other south, on each floor. Magical scones emit a dim light on each floor.
Pixie Fun
After tormenting the party at the gate, the three Pixies will retreat to this tower. If pursued, they will contest every level of the tower, using a combination of their magic and a fusillade of snowballs on the party. Once cornered on the upper level of the tower they will turn invisible and retreat out of the window, flying into the palace itself to reappear in the throne room.
Frozen Corpse
On the third floor the party will find the frozen corpse of a Soulmeliti looking man. A close inspection will reveal that he could have been kin to Amaria of the Eastwood. The corpse is frozen solid, including all of his clothing. A fine silver dagger, however, can be pried from his boot if desired.
