Pryania the Princess

Pickpocket

No one believes that Pryania - or Pree as most of the other members of her small, Darin Peninsula gang call her - is really a princess. For one thing - she's an abomination. With deep black skin, dirty blonde hair that she chops into short, spiky tufts to make her seem taller, she looks a bit like the shadow of small child. She hasn't even really aged much in the twenty years that she has worked the streets of Wargun, steadily accumulating wealth from the pockets of the city's throng and favors from the Northwest Syndicate, to whom she paid her dues. Keeping her head down, she rarely dabbled in the politics of the Guild until a decade ago when new leadership thrust a gang of pickpockets upon her for training.

Her small crew - originally youths of eight to twelves year old - learned the trade well and prospered, eventually moving on to territories of their own. Pleased, the Guild sent more recruits to Pryania for an apprenticeship. Each new batch has had a good laugh and the small thief's insistence that she in her homeland - a vast savannah across the shining sea from which she was snatched years ago - holds thousands of her kind. Its even funnier, they say, that she claims to have been some sort of noble in this mythical land. Still, after they have moved on, most of the children of the streets that she has trained remain loyal to her, despite the fact that most have grown to almost twice her size.

Seemingly an eternal child, the dark skinned, spike-haired Pryania serves the Northwest Syndicate as a master pickpocket in the streets of Wargun. Training gangs of young protegees she has earned the respect of the guild over the decades - even if no one believes her claims that in her homeland she is really a princess.
