Proclamation of Independence
With very few words Count Mandaran Khankari changed his title to Prince, succeeded from the Zennonaize Confederacy and acceded to the mob by joining the Mage Wars. A hundred magi paid the ultimate price for Gartcha's independence, yet they receive no mention in the proclamation. Instead it simply states that city no longer considers itself part of the Confederacy and has entered into a alliance of "mutual benefit" with the Empire of Eldoria The fact that an entire Imperial Legion supported these words made them ring true.
