Mandaran Khankari

Count Mandaran Khankari came from a long line of Gartchan lords that owed their fealty to the Zennonaize a Dono that recognized the brutal restoration of order by Mandaran's ancestor - Nemo Khankari. Perhaps, therefore, it should be no surprise that Mandaran himself to advantage of civil unrest in the Zennonaize Confederacy to declare the city independent. His actions, far more displeasing to the Dono than his ancestor's, resulted in a brief war where the Zennonaize laid siege to the city. Through savvy negotiations, however, Mandaran had allied with the Empire of Eldoria to keep his city supplied, making siege rather short lived. His own descendants not only still rule the citystate but maintain their alliance with the Empire to this day.
