First Man to Unite Eldoria

Stories told of Jendale have become formulaic myths spun by bards rather than snippets of history. Each seems to place the great warlord in a seemingly unwinnable circumstance that, as the story progresses, grows more dire with a unexpected twist of fate brought about by mischance or the meddling of a jealous god. Through three acts - one of wits, one of charm, and one of prowess in battle, Jendale, invariably survives, solving the problem at hand and generally winning the love of some fair maiden along the way. There must be thirty variations on this formula floating around taverns throughout the Empire of Eldoria for which he laid the seeds. All of the tall tales make it impossible to know anything about the true history of the man other than the fact that he accepted both the surrender of the Andors and the title of warlord in 304 AC, making him the first man to unite the Island of Eldoria.
