Gastwyme
Since before the Soulmeliti developed the written word, the town of Gastwyme has long served as a bastion of defense for the The Soulmeliti Forests against the hordes of Ork from the north. As a result, for its size, it has historically had the largest volunteer militia in all of the Forests.
With the advent of the Kirsh'shaluush a mere 15 centuries ago and the construction of Fort Bentrihyiem, the purpose of the village shifted to its crafts. Chief among them was weaving. Located in the forest surrounding the village are farms of spiders that lay the most wonderous Soulmeliti silk which the villagers dye into vibrant colors and weave into cloth for trade. As a result, everyone in town is finely attired in bright colors created with dyes whose composition is a secret passed from generation to generation.
