Often found atop a wagon slogging through the maze of canyons and dry rocks of Trai'dietch Pass, the red bearded Yatain can often be heard well before he is seen, even if it drives whatever mercenary captain he has hired crazy. With over a hundred traverses of the pass under his ample belt, Edaric will simply flash a bright smile, praise Landric, and waive the captain away.
When not on the road, he can be found in his favorite taverns in Yaty, Gartcha or Grennig, the three points of his vaguely t-shaped route, falling his prodigious appetite. An old friend of Commander Larissa Renault, he can often be found at her manor when staying in Calkara. In Gartcha, he is particularly fond of Nerrid cuisine and generally dines in their quarter.
One might wonder how he can travel with such a small caravan - typically only three wagon loads - and still turn the profits that he claims. Judging by his lavish meals (almost anyone is welcome at his table) and the donations he makes to various charities in Yaty, he is at least honest about his success. Edaric would tell you that its his cargo - often Nerrid inventions - that drive his profits. Others in the Merchant's Guild whisper of less honest means of income.
