Carni'key Kal'haiyllyn

Author of The Dragonslayer

A poet of middling talents for most of her life, Carni'key found fame and fortune with the publication of The Dragonslayer in 183 BC. The tale, a classic story of an honorable Soulmeliti here is unremarkable except for the fact that it exemplifies the form of the heroic epic perfectly. She blends the moral lessons, theatrical swordplay, and a touch of romance into a tale that has become both timeliness and poilitcally important. After its publication, the Khadric Clan Chief Jandor Goldtooth loved the tale so much that he not only offered to publish it - making it the first Soulmeliti work printed on Khardic presses - but he also reopened diplomatic relations with New Solarin.

Sadly, her follow-up work, The Dragon Knight lacked the balance of the Dragonslayer. It was poorly received by the general public and generally panned for its unrealistic plot. What dragon would befriend Soulmeliti knight?
