Adretta Alku
Dono of the Zennonaize Confederacy
Like her aunt and father, Adretta was a strong rider and formidable with both blade and lance. With her short cropped hair and crooked nose - a badge from a fail breaking in a stallion that never healed correctly, she looked the part of a soldier, wearing leather riding pants as often as the skirts of princess. More importantly, she had a charisma that made men want to follow her - as both an officer in the Zennonaize Cavalry and later as Dono. When her father died sonless, she immediately had the support of the military and was named Dono with minimal bloodshed.
Her lasting legacy was to stake out the southeastern border of the Confederacy with the construction of Fort Tarick. She even attempted to start trade witht he east, but the three caravans that she sent east into Trai'dietch Pass never returned.
