Fiolag Fevilan Con'veinia Character in Tariek Rough Collection | World Anvil

Fiolag Fevilan Con'veinia

The Fiolag of  the lands within the Con'veinia Baruntacht, this elderly elf in his fourth century of life is another staunch traditionalist on the political spectrum in the region. Very old fashioned, believing in the general superiority of the wealthy and established nobility and thinking that they should be the ones entrusted to make decisions for the peoples within their entrusted regions. He is as one would expect of elven nobility, haughty, high and mighty and generally a little pompous. He has embraced industrialization however, though not the free spirit nature of the age, and works hard to keep nobility, those of 'proper breeding' in control of things. He even owns majority interest in the rail yards and operations of them within Ghapiiv, an exceptional rarity. But he is as good as his word, and has spent the last two decades becoming proficient in the understanding of locomotion and the rail system. He believes it is a sitting noble's responsibility to run things, but to also become knowledgeable and competent enough to run things. Here in lies the major difference between his kind of 'traditionalist values' and Fiolag Lowin's.
