Personal history
Unlike almost all the other Artificial Mega-Intelligences, The Great Watcher makes no attempts to intrude into the real world. It was created by the Mildoran Originators but since then has developed from a simple firewall into a free thinking Machine capable of enormous feats of intelligence and power. It was almost deactivated in The Breach, an event where all the galaxy's citizens capable of Code Walking banded together to shut down The Iron Net. Fortunately for The Great Watcher it managed to overcome them in the only recorded occurrence of the Great Watcher operating outside of The Iron Net. It hijacked a robotic defense system with ease and managed to destroy the Code Walkers in meer seconds. This demonstration of power shook all of Tanari into the cold realisation that these machines had power beyond their wildest dreams.
Since then all The Great Watcher has done is stay inside The Iron Net and make contact with any who enter it. It is unknown if The Great Watcher will have another excursion into reality but if it does, many fear that it will destroy all of them.
