The Alliance
The Alliance is the principal force that stands against the Empire's absolute sovereignty. Founded in 741 AOS by Oromis Saltreef it served as a foundation for the God King to incite and support his rebellion. The Alliance is one out of two Organized Forces to ever breach Vonahaf's walls and the only force to do so during the Emperor's rule, and being confronted with maximum poise and vigilance. The Alliance still stands opposed to the Empire, albeit in shambles; for there is great Turmoil within the Organization's comprising Houses, some of them having suffered nigh extinction and others having stroke a deal with the Empire, in return for their amnesty.
Structure
The Alliance is comprised of 9 major noble Houses, namely House Saltreef, House Jurgenhad, House Vayra, House Sangrefoid, House Laexes, House Surevantys, House Knurlabrâga, House Nagravart, House Marivaldi, and the minor noble houses that are Vassals to the aforementioned major ones.
Sovereignty
The Leader of House Saltreef rules as King of the Alliance, however his axiom is mostly symbolic as he has no power over the territories and rulership of the other Houses. The Major Houses of the Alliance independently rule as Lord Paramounts of their respective territory, and pay no tribute to their King but are expected to answer to any call to arms and defend the Territories of the Alliance as a unitary state. The Inner Royal Council
The laws and rules of the Alliance are voted and adjudicated by the Inner Royal Council which is comprised by the House Leaders of the Major Noble houses, whom determine any geopolitical decisions to be made regarding the confederancy of the Alliance as well as economic decisions regarding trade, banking and monetary policies. The King of the Alliance is part of the Inner Council, just as any other Family Leader but he may cast two votes, instead of one, if such meassures are needed to break a tie in cumulative voting. Moreover, the King has the power to veto the council's decisions, however, if the council is ever to fail at reaching a conclusive agreement thrice in a row, the Alliance is to be disbanded and the parties involved are not to engage in hostile actions against each other for the coming decade. This contract is secured by Divine Law in order to protect the involved parties from acts of treason or vengenace.Culture
There's lots of species and therefore, lots of cultures in the territory of the Alliance, and they all have their own traditions and practices. However, most of its Citizens value freedom of expression, trade and religion.

Religion
Throughout the multitude of beliefs encountered in the Tail, there's a common factor of festivities centered around good crops, music and joy. The most important deities venerated amongst the member duchies of the Alliance are Lunamene, Sculptor and Valanor, however there's also other, lesser clergies of joy, pleassure and wanderlust that headquarter there.Cuisine
Only certain areas in the Tail are fertile for it spans far North, and those areas wouldn't be if not for the Powerful Fey establishments present there. A great example of such a Place would be the Invisible Shallows. Citizens of the Tail rely heavily on animal husbandry for their survival, and produce lots of dairy and beef. Game is readily available in the forests, and berries and fruits can be found in the right areas. Regarding beverages, dark beer and mead are the ones of choice, for rye, honey and yeast are widely available in the tail.Public Agenda
The main goal of the Alliance is to overthrow the Empire and restore Relavar to its previous state, id est: the Feudal Kingdom era that was solidified after The Regal Division. The member Houses of the Alliance are strongly opposed to the firm Legal system of the Empire and its prejudice towards magic, as well as the overrule of the Emperor whose power they consider unjust, and its totallity criminal. They vouch for religious libertarianism and unrestricted practice of magic as a means to a more prosperous and inclusive society. Most of the Major Houses of the Alliance have either political or religious reasons to join the Organization as many of their traditional beliefs were deemed blasphemous by the Empire's rule and their people were subjected to prosecution.
