Overview
Goddess Queen-Mother Harmaneyra Laexes is the head of her house and their most prominent and active figure. Harmaneyra was wife to King Oromis Saltreef, their marriage further solidifying the bond betwixt the two powerful Merfolk Houses, laying the foundaments for what would later be The Alliance. Throughout her marriage, Harmaneyra's biggest desire was a child of her own, successor to the throne of Osvorate and inheritor of both great Houses. However, her goddess, Lunamene, would refuse her wishes and lady Laexes couldn't bear child. As such, she and God King Oromis Saltreef adopted a child; a little human girl that they named Flarëum. Harmaneyra, being an extraordinarily powerful witch, is also the director of the Academy of Magic in Osvorate and is known to be authoritative and strict. She is a devotee of Lunamene and a Lesser Deity.Background
Early Years
Harmaneyra grew up in the Vibrant Depths. Her early years were mostly spent studying History and Magic and learning the proper etiquette expected from a lady of her significance. She excelled in the arcane arts and had a talent in the interpretation of law and administration. Harmaneyra is also a Chess Enthusiast, having studied under the greatest masters of her time, and widely considered one herself. Shortly after coming of age, Harmaneyra deciphered the nature of her Spark and managed to ascend to the status of a Lesser Deity, thus, she took part in most political dealings of her house, being both feared in respected by opposing houses.The Doomspire Campaign
Harmaneyra, alongside her family, played a pivotal role during the events of The Doomspire Campaign providing important military and arcane assistance to the efforts against the mad God. The house's deep understanding of the Arcane was part of the parameters that solidified the ultimate battle plan ending the Campaign. Harmaneyra herself, fought side-by-side with The Shield Maiden and The Keeper of the Gauntlet, drowning whatever grudges she held against the god couple, for they were the ones felling her parents earlier in the war.Marriage and Rebellion
Past the Doomspire campaign, Harmaneyra's Brother, Queseon Laexes inherited the House's Leadership and Harmaneyra took over as the house's ambassador. During those years, Harmaneyra often participated in councils and meetings alongside Oromis Saltreef for whom she grew a very deep appreciation and interest. She invested greatly in her relationship with House Saltreef, supporting their claims and assisting their political maneuvers. She helped accentuate the reach of the Salt Throne's navy, and bolstered their arcane strengths with her knowledge and skills. Slowly but surely House Laexes grew in power alongside the Kings of the Western Expanse, and displaced house Silvershore as the second most powerful Merfolk house. In the year 616 AOS, after some years of prosperity for both House Laexes and House Saltreef, Harmaneyra Married God King Oromis Saltreef, and her sister Rosaneyra married Prince Tamesis Saltreef, the King's brother. Harmaneyra enjoyed a few decades of bliss alongside her husband during The Prosperous Years. It was during this time they both joined The Trinity and delved deeper into the mysteries of the occult. After the Discovery of the Abyssal Scar, the political scene of Relavar was in absolute turmoil. Harmaneyra's attention was mostly focused towards the wellbeing of her people, for it was her brother on the Vanguard against the forces of the abyss. Her political approach gradually became less lenient and more rigid, in order to safeguard her birthplace. Many Nobles grew weary of Harmaneyra's agenda, and were dissatisfied with House Varlath's decision to support her, because of their common beliefs. As such, Harmaneyra is widely held accountable for the prohibition of Lunamene's Religion in the empire. The aforementioned prohibition, and the fall of the Vibrant Depths were the primary factors that lead the Queen Goddess to incite Rebellion and go to war against the Empire.Draece's Legacy
Harmaneyra lost her brother, Queseon, in the Vibrant depths, her husband in war, and her sister, Rosaneyra, to crippling depression caused by her profound love for Harmaneyra's husband. Despite all, she does her best to further the political agenda of The Alliance and to protect her daughter Flarëum, which she tried her best to mould into a fine ruler (although in vain). Yet, when the council of the Alliance was left headless, it would be divided in half, the Lords being uncertain whether they should side with the Queen Mother and Flarëum Saltreef, the Princess-To-Be-Queen or with Prince Cyreus Saltreef, brother of Oromis, Head of House Saltreef and ruler of the Emerging City. During the events of Draece's Legacy, Harmaneyra had to fend off multiple assassination attempts against her and her daughter, a couple of which the party did witness.Looks
Harmaneyra, as a merfolk goddess, has shimmering skin in a blend of pale blues and purples, traced with faint scales. Her long, flowing hair resembles seaweeds in shades of coral pink and magenta and moves like the tide. She has sharp, elegant features and glowing, hypnotic eyes. Delicate fins extend from her face, arms and collarbones. In her aquatic form her tail is long and vibrant, ornated with complex and delicate patterns and radiating in soft shades of silver, teal, pink and magenta. She is usually dressed in merfolk silk, pearls and nacre, and presented radiant, like how it would befit a Merfolk Queen.Appearances

Harmaneyra entrusted Flarëum Saltreef in the care of Ser Thorismund Sundhaussen, a task he struggled to accomplish all throughout his adventures but ultimately failed in the party's first fight with Alabaster.Season 3
harmaneyra, after Osvorate fell from Cyreus Saltreef's coup d'état, took her daughter and went on the run. They took refuge in Dorn Thurim, a place still alligned with the Queen Mother and the Osvorate Branch of House Saltreef. After Ailwyn, Simon and Najjar started digging deeper into the machinations of the Emperor, they realized that having King Salazar on their backs, spying on them with Anastrella, might cause trouble. Simon attempted a dangerous maneuver, id est, speaking to Harmaneyra with Henelux. He informed the Queen Mother of Salazar's course of sail, and she immediately unleashed a flurry of powerful lightnings that he barely survived. They later informed the Goddess of everything they uncovered and handed her over Henelux, making her own two artifacts, Salazar's Anastrella and Henelux.Season 4
Legend of a Banished Man
After Crowley uncovered the shipments sent from Aylis Alqualira to Imperial grounds, Gregar Born assembled the party for a talk. Harmaneyra made her appearance as they were discussing political moves that concerned her deeply. Yet on the mention of Maelvorna's name, the Crimson Mother manifested her presence and Harmaneyra naturally grew powerless in the presence of the Greater Goddess. Harmaneyra and the party exchanged important information, discussed over important matters and she modified the Henelux so that Crowley could contact her when necessary.Off Shoot: Kill the Princess
Lord Ser Steven Northfell and his trusted party came upon harrowing truths. They learned that King Oromis laid with lady Rosaneyra had a child with her. Furthermore, Prince Cyreus informed them but that Flarëum stems from the crimson desert and she bears the mark of Maelvorna.Divine Domains
